BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Code for Tomorrow is an immersive 1-week camp for middle schoolers to learn coding and engineering. Students can choose to either build a robot arm or an LED cube. All of our students start from knowing nothing to exiting our program with a finished electronics product that they built and programmed by themselves. Best part? Students can keep EVERYTHING they build so that learning can continue after us.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:

CAMP LOCATION: We have two locations in Rhode Island, one at BVP High School and the other at TIMES2 Academy. BVP High School is located in Cumberland, RI, which TIMES2 Academy is located in Providence.
CAMP FACILITIES: All students are provided with computers and a LED or robot arm kit (valued at $65), based on the program that they choose. Each of these kits are for the students to keep, and students may take home everything that they build and code.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This year we are offering two programs. In the first one Coding the Matrix, students build a LED cube and learn all skills necessary to program the cube via Arduino. This is our most popular program as this is the exact same program as the coding course taught at Brown University's Summer Program with the same instructors. The only difference is location. Our second program Designing Robotic Systems is one where students build a robot arm and learn all skills necessary to program and automate their device. This program has an engineering focus. Students will learn to program their arms with Arduino so that it responds to user control and completes predefined tasks. The instructors for both programs are the same.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: If your student is on Free and Reduced Lunches, the program fee is $135 ($290 discount).
For TIMES2 and BVP students, this financial aid program is guaranteed.
For non-TIMES2 or BVP students, financial aid is limited and will be given on a rolling basis.

Jun 17 - Jun 21: Coding the Matrix TIMES2 campus
Jul 8 - Jul 2: Designing Robotic Systems BVP campus
Jul 29 - Aug 2: Designing Robotic Systems TIMES2 campus
Aug 5 - Aug 9: Designing Robotic Systems BVP campus
Program fee is $325, if you use the promotional code. Else, program fee is $425.
The two programs do not overlap in content, and therefore students may sign up for both programs. Coding the Matrix has a coding focus, while Designing Robotic Systems has an engineering focus.
